Last time we saw Daenerys, she was surrounded by a Dothraki Khalasar – very likely a hostile one. (Technically speaking, all Dothraki Khalasars could be considered hostile, to an extent.) But, while the Dothraki aren't too keen on the idea of female leaders, we reckon the sight of Drogon might just convince them otherwise. Could Daenerys end up convincing a Khalasar to follow her, join up with her army of Unsullied, and cross the narrow sea? We certainly hope so.
Excitingly, according to the show's VFX supervisor Joe Bauer, we'll also be seeing some considerably bigger dragons next season.
“The dragons will again be double in size, ” Bauer recently told Yahoo TV, when asked what viewers could expect from season six. “When the dragons were small, we had little foam rubber models of each dragon and we could carry them on and off of the set and it was no big deal. Last year, the best we could do was a head and this year it’s going to be a finger nail or something, I’m not really sure.”
